What is a
Practical Quality
System?
Though companies may have their
own interpretation of a practical quality system,
in QIT we only use one criterion to evaluate
the quality system- customer satisfaction! Can your
quality system ensure that you will provide the
product or service that meets customer expectations?
By QIT's definition, a pragmatic
quality system should possess four elements.
-
Advanced quality planning
to prevent problems from occurring.
-
The ability to learn from
past failures and use the lessons learned to
prevent similar mistakes.
-
Process control to ensure
results.
-
Positive quality attitudes
and culture to involve everyone in the organization
into continuous improvement activities.
What can we do for you?
The concepts mentioned above are
not new concepts. The challenge for the business
is how to put these concepts to work and how to
create a synergy among these concepts. ISO9000 standard,
TQM philosophy and Six Sigma theory will not tell
you how to implement them in practice and how to
achieve your goals. But we will! Translating theories
and concepts to everyday work and making them simple
to follow is one of QIT's many distinguished advantages.

Four subsystems were developed
according to QIT's concepts for a mid-size manufacturer.
The new quality system reduced in-process defect
by 50%, and decreased incoming rejection rate from
11% to 2%. Regular quality meetings were scheduled
in different levels of the organization, and the
process of collecting quality information was established
to collect quality data from numerous resources
in the organization.
